BERNE – Two mistakes was all it took. An opportunistic Russia took advantage of Canadian errors and defeated Canada 2-1 to win gold for the second year in a row against its archrivals. Alexander Radulov scored the second-period winner.

BERNE – It wasn't a “Miracle on Ice” for either team, but it was a medal for one of them. Sweden defeated the United States 4-2 to capture the bronze at PostFinance Arena on Sunday. Carl Gunnarsson scored the third-period winner.

BERNE--Backed by stellar goaltending from 39-year-old Dwayne Roloson and timely scoring, Canada defeated Sweden 3-1 on Friday to advance to the gold medal game for the sixth time in the last seven years. Derek Roy had two goals.

BERNE – Russia's drive to repeat is still alive. On a late power play goal by Konstantin Gorovikov, the defending World Champions beat the Americans 3-2 at PostFinance Arena in the semi-finals and moved on to a gold medal showdown with Canada.
Ninth straight trip to semis for Sweden after beating Czechs
BERNE—Mattias Weinhandl and Dick Tarnstrom broke a goalless tie with power-play goals in the second period to lift Sweden to a 3-1 win over the Czech Republic in quarterfinals action Thursday in Berne.
ZURICH-KLOTEN - Ladislav Nagy's power-play goal at 2:07 of overtime gave Slovakia a 3-2 win over Norway in the final game for both teams at the 2009 World Championship.
