Social program

Of course play in the 56 ice hockey games will be the main attraction at the 2009 IIHF World Championship from April 24 to May 10, 2009. But the Organizing Committee is also putting together an attractive social program. The 2009 IIHF World Championship will be an incomparable icehockey festival – on and off the ice.

Numerous events and attractions are scheduled at the World Championship stadiums before, after and in between the games. Among the hot spots: fan tents, World Championship lounges, food stalls and the Sponsors' Village.   Further information on the social program will be posted here soon.
