COLORADO SPRINGS, United States – USA Hockey announced that FASTHockey.com will offer live streaming coverage for all games of the upcoming 2010 IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship.
The eight-nation tournament, which is being held on U.S. soil for first time, runs from March 27 to April 3 at Seven Bridges Ice Arena in the Chicago suburb of Woodridge. There, Team USA will look to go for its third straight world title, after garnering the gold medal in both 2008 and 2009.
Games will be available on a pay-per-view basis at USAHockey.FASTHockey.com. FASTHockey uses a unique game-credit system for viewing games, offering discounts to customers who watch multiple games. Users who want to watch one or more games must first sign up for a free account at USAHockey.FASTHockey.com. Users may then buy game credits - a single game ranges from $6.99 (when one game credit is purchased) to $4.99 (when 100 game credits are purchased). Game credits can be used to watch live games or on-demand archives and never expire. In addition, games will be available for purchase on DVD and/or USB sticks at USAHockey.FASTHockey.com.
Team USA begins its title defence against Japan on Saturday (March 27) at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
