TILBURG – Austria completed its mission in Division I Group A and was promoted to the 2011 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia after a 2-1 victory over Ukraine.

LJUBLJANA – Slovenia earned promotion to the 2011 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia following its 4-1 victory in the Division I Group B over co-favourite Hungary.
TILBURG - It promises to be Super Sunday in Group A tomorrow. Austria and Ukraine both won their fourth straight game and will face each other to decide who will go to Slovakia in 2011. Lithuania avoided relegation defeating Serbia 10-4.
