QUEBEC CITY – The IIHF announced Saturday that the top international hockey story of the century (1908-2008) is the 1980 “Miracle on Ice”, in which the USA shocked the Soviet Union 4-3 at the Olympics.

PARIS – The 100-year anniversary celebration of the IIHF continued last weekend. During the festivities, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in Paris, where the IIHF was founded.
