InLine: First gold for Czechs, Great Britain promoted

PARDUBICE – The 2011 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship ended with history. The Czechs won their first gold after edging Team USA 3-2, Canada won its first medal since 1999, and Great Britain was promoted.

PARDUBICE – In many countries inline hockey is played by ice hockey players. In the U.S. however, inline hockey is a professional sport in its own right, especially in California.
PARDUBICE – The Czech Republic and Team USA play it out for the gold at the IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship again. The Czechs defeated Sweden 8-4 before the U.S. edged Canada, 4-2.
