Alexander Medvedev  Close Biography


Born on August 14, 1955. Medvedev’s hockey background is primarily based in his native Russia where he is a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SKA St. Petersburg hockey club. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Ice Hockey Association and a member of the Organizing Committee of the new Open Russian Hockey League (KHL). In the business world, Medvedev is well-known as Deputy Chairman of Gazprom. Medvedev was elected to his post as an IIHF Councilor since 2008.
