The second game of the tournament introduced two 2010 IIHF World Championship Division III teams with Mongolia playing against the United Arab Emirates. Despite the number of good scoring opportunities on both ends, UAE took its first win in the tournament with a quick goal after just two minutes in the first period. In its first indoor game of the season, Mongolia kept on coming at the defending Challenge Cup Champion all the way till the end of the game.
