BUFFALO – Artemi Panarin keyed an historic third-period rally with two goals and teammate Yevgeni Kuznetsov added three assists in a five-goal third period that saw Russia erase a 3-0 deficit and take gold medals off the necks of Canadians with a 5-3 victory.

BUFFALO – Canada’s Brayden Schenn, the superior scoring leader of the World U20 Championship, was selected Most Valuable Player. Schenn was also accompanied by two Canadians and two Russians to the All-Star Team.
Record number of Canadians watched gold-medal game
BUFFALO – An incredible 14.2 million Canadians watched some or all of the gold medal game on Wednesday night. In a country of 33 million, that represents nearly half the population.
