Korea - Chinese Taipei 13-1

The second edition of the IIHF University Challenge Cup of Asia started with a game between Korea and the tournament newcomer Chinese Taipei. Korea didn’t have to break too much sweat in the game taking the control early on with 4-0 on the scoreboard after the first period. Korea continued on cruise control through the game finishing with 13 goals against Taipei’s one after 60 minutes of play. For Korea, Sungjun Lee managed a hat trick and Sangjin Park and Junho Bang had two goals each.
