Tickets and packages for World Juniors on sale in September

ZURICH/UFA – Single-game tickets and various packages for the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship in Ufa, Russia, will go on sale in in September.

The ticketing for the event will be aimed at offering tickets at a suitable price for all fans. The price for a single-game ticket starts at as little as 80 roubles (€2, $2.50) and goes up to 2,000 roubles (€51, $63) for the most expensive category of the gold medal game.

Hockey fans visiting the games at the Ufa Arena and the Sports Palace can also get discounts by choosing from a vast number of ticket packages including day packages, preliminary-round packages, final-round packages, follow-your-team packages and packages for all games at one of the two venues.

The official ticket partner for the 2013 World Juniors will be Arena-Market. Tickets will be available as of September 2012 at both arenas and at sales points in Ufa, the city and region of Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk and Sterlitamak.

Tickets will also be made available on the internet. The links will be published at a later stage on the ticketing page for the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship, where more information about ticket sales, packages, and corporate tickets is available in English and Russian.

The Preliminary Round will be played 26-31 December 2012. Host Russia will face Canada, Slovakia, the United States and Germany in Group A at the Ufa Arena. Group B at the Sports Palace includes defending champion Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Latvia.

The Final Round involving the top three teams of each group will be played at the Ufa Arena, home of KHL team Salavat Yulayev Ufa, 2-5 January 2013. The other four teams will play in the Relegation Round at the smaller Sports Palace.
