Belaurs - France 6-1 (1-0, 3-1, 2-0)
After a narrow win against Hungary, Team Belarus played a better overall game against France, skating to a 6-1 win.
Belarus played its best hockey in the first period, but only one of their 21 shots found the way into the net; Andrei Komarov scored after four minutes.
It wasn't until the second period that the Belarus offense was more effective. Artem Demkov scored twice while Stéphane Da Costa netted the only Frenach goal of the game at 26:07. The scoring rhythm was interrupted with Igor Voroshilov's power play goal at 28:24, which was followed by a fight. It did, however, not prevent Demkov of making his goals three and four in the last period to emphasise the Belarus 6-1 win.
