BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Slovan Bratislava's offensive star has missed the last eight games due to a knee injury. Originally estimated to be out for four to eight weeks, Uram’s recovery went better than expected and he is now hoping for a return to the ice in two weeks. Although it remains to be seen how his knee will react in practice, Uram remains positive of staging a successful comeback in 2008.
The Slovak winger earned last year’s scoring title with 84 points in 67 games and was on the way to repeat those numbers this season. In 26 regular season games he posted 9 goals and 28 assists for 37 points.
