McCreary, O’Halloran for final

On-ice officials assigned for medal games

VANCOUVER – Following the semi-final games on Friday, the on-ice officials were assigned for the gold and bronze medal games.

The officiating, like the final itself, will be an all-North American affair. Bill McCreary, who’s officiating in his third Olympic Winter Games and in his third Olympic gold medal game, and Dan O’Halloran were assigned to work the final on Sunday. They'll be joined by linesmen Stefan Fonselius and Jean Morin.

Gold medal game: USA (blue) vs. Canada (white)
Sunday, February 28 (12:15 PT)

Referees: Bill McCreary (CAN), Dan O’Halloran (CAN).
Linesmen: Stefan Fonselius (FIN), Jean Morin (CAN).

Bronze medal game: Finland (white) vs. Slovakia (blue)

Saturday, February 27 (19:00 PT)

Referees: Paul Devorski (CAN), Brad Watson (CAN).
Linesmen: Petr Blümel (CZE), Yuri Oskirko (RUS).
