QUEBEC CITY, Canada – It’s been quite a season for Patrice Bergeron. The Boston Bruins forward, fresh off a Stanley Cup victory last June, has spent the summer collecting more hardware as the newest member of the Triple Gold Club.
When Bergeron got his traditional day with the Stanley Cup, Hockey Hall of Fame curator Phil Pritchard presented him with a gold Tissot watch, one of only 25 in the world, each belonging to a member of the Triple Gold Club.

The exclusivity associated with this Club lays in the fact that membership granted only to hockey players that have won a Stanley Cup, an Olympic gold medal, and a World Championship gold medal.
“You think of the history of the game, with all the years that hockey has been going on and played in 70 different countries around the world, that there’s been only 25 players that have achieved this,” says Pritchard. “It’s not only an honour for Patrice, but he’s in a class that is like no other.”
