MINSK – A stamp dedicated to 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk was released in Belarus.

Its circulation will be 240,000 and it will be the first hockey stamp issued by Belarusian Post since the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

On the first day the stamp went out together with a special envelope and commemorative post mark.

The design of the entire project was made by Ivan Lukin.

The stamp will not only be interesting for collectors but also for fans visiting the 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship since the stamp value “M” is equal to the air-mail tariff of a postcard sent abroad.
