KOSICE – The Swiss national team registered Beat Gerber to fill its roster for the Preliminary Round. He will play in the games against Belarus and Canada.

With the addition of the SC Bern defenceman, who has already been in the camp with the team, the Swiss have registered the maximum of 20 skaters and three goalkeepers for the Preliminary Round.

Montreal Canadiens defenceman Yannick Weber, who will arrive in Slovakia in the next two days, will be added as one of the supplementary players after the end of the Preliminary Round.
