Christer Englund  Close Biography

Born on August 29, 1947. Englund was a board member in the Swedish Ice Hockey Association from 1993-2001 and was active on several committees. In 2004, he was named the chairman of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. The former bank manager has also served as the General Manager for the Swedish national team from 1994-96 and has represented the IIHF at several congresses dating back to Moscow in 1986. Englund was voted to the IIHF Council in 2008.
