Kalervo Kummola   Close Biography
Born on November 21, 1945. IIHF Council Member since 1998. Managing Director of the Finnish Hockey League between 1975 and 1987. Board Member of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association since 1975, Vice President in 1990 and President since 1997. Kummola was the youngest ever ice hockey club President at the age of 23 years with Kiekko -67 with the top Finnish ice champion league. Member of the IIHF Sport Committee from 1982 until 1998 and Finnish delegate in the IIHF Congresses since 1976. Chairman of the IIHF Championship Structure, Championship Bid and Disciplinary Committees. Member of the Parliament of Finland since 1999.
