ZURICH – The venues for the second round of the 2008-2009 IIHF European Women’s Champions Cup are known. The two tournaments have been allocated to Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, and to Segeltorp, Sweden, December 5-7, 2008.

Group E will take place in Kralupy nad Vltavou, 25 kilometres north of Prague. The participating teams are Aisulu Almaty (Kazakhstan), the Espoo Blues (Finland), Slavia Prague (Czech Republic), and the Herlev Hornets (Denmark).

Group F will be played in Segeltorp, a Stockholm suburban. Host Segeltorps IF (Sweden) will face DHC Langenthal (Switzerland), ESC Planegg-Würmtal (Germany), and SKIF Moscow Region (Russia).

The two best teams of each second-round group will advance to the final tournament, January 30 to February 1, 2009. The venue is to be determined.
