Kuwait - Macau 8-3

Following the Opening Ceremony of the tournament, the final game of the day was between the host team Kuwait and Macau. Both teams started the game cautiously putting emphasis on team defence. They successfully kept the opponent scoreless for the first period. In the second period, Kuwait picked up the speed and took the 2-0 lead with goals from the Al Ajmi brothers, Mishal and Mohammad. Although Macau seemed to try and hang on in the game by narrowing the lead with a goal from Chon Kong Leong, four quick markers by Mohammad Al Ajmi (3) and Ahmad Al Ajmi (1) within the last ten minutes in the period gave Kuwait a convincing 6-1 lead going into the final period. With two goals from Kuwait by Salem and Ahmad Al Ajmi, and two from Macau by Kim Kei Mok and Chon Nin Ho, it was the host team to claim the victory with the 8-3 final score in which all four Al Ajmi brothers contributed with at least one goal.
