Germany announces schedules of men’s and women’s qualifier

<table align="right"><tbody><tr><td></td></tr></tbody></table> MUNICH – The German Ice Hockey Association DEB announced the schedules of the men’s and women’s final Olympic qualification in Hanover and Bad Tolz respectively.

The men’s final Olympic qualification at the TUI Arena in Hanover will be played February 5-8, 2009, with Germany, Slovenia, Austria, and a qualifier. The women’s final Olympic qualification will be held at the Hacker Pschorr Arena in Bad Tolz, November 6-9, 2008, with Germany, Kazakhstan, France, and a qualifier. Both schedules are subject to approval by the IIHF council.


Men’s Final Olympic Qualification, Group E, in Hanover:
February 5, 2009: Slovenia vs. Austria (16:00), Germany vs. Qualifier (19:30).
February 7, 2009: Slovenia vs. Qualifier (12:00), Austria vs. Germany (15:30).
February 8, 2009: Qualifier vs. Austria (13:30), Germany vs. Slovenia (17:00).

Women’s Final Olympic Qualification, Group C, in Bad Tolz:
November 6, 2008: Kazakhstan vs. Qualifier (16:00), France vs. Germany (19:30).
November 8, 2008: Kazakhstan vs. France (13:30), Germany vs. Qualifier (17:00).
November 9, 2008: Qualifier vs. France (13:30), Germany vs. Kazakhstan (17:00).
