Stanley Cup Playoffs

I would like to congratulate the Los Angeles Kings on winning their second Stanley Cup within the last three years. They played very well and truly deserved the win the way that they played in the finals. Two of their players Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty come from the community in Canada where I lived once. London, Ontario on the Thames River. London has much to be proud of in this way. Carter was also on the Canadian team that won the gold medal in Vancouver at the Olympics. I was also happy to see the great play of Dustin Tokarski against the New York Rangers. I remember that in 2009 he was the reason that the Canadians won the gold medal in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. His play against the Russians in the shootout, along with goals by John Tavares and Jordan Eberle, helped Canada win the gold medal.
