Tickets for the 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, which will be held from 26 December 2019 to 5 January 2020 in Ostrava and Trinec, will go on sale on 24 April. Below is some important information about tickets.
When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale starting on Wednesday, 24 April at 11:00 am CET.
What kind of tickets will be available?
Tickets for individual games go on sale, their prices range from 90 CZK to 450 CZK per game. Tickets for group stage games are in three price categories - 290 CZK, 240 CZK and 140 CZK. Tickets to quarterfinal and semifinal games can be purchased for 290 CZK. For the bronze-medal game, the ticket price is set at 350 CZK, and fans will pay 450 CZK for a ticket to the championship final. For games to the best-of-three relegation series, tickets are 90 CZK.
What is the lowest ticket price?
The cheapest ticket for the tournament can be purchased for 90 CZK. During the group stage, the price of the cheapest tickets is 140 CZK. That’s about €3.50 and €5.50 respectively.
Where can I buy tickets?
Ticket sale is provided by company Deep Vision. Tickets can be purchased through the official website 2020.worldjuniors.hockey or at Sazka outlets. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card, online via internet. For internet orders, reservations are valid for until the end of the following day (midnight CET).

How do I purchase tickets from Sazka?
Tickets can be purchased at any of Sazka’s 7,500 locations in the Czech Republic. There are two ways to purchase:
Reserve tickets on the internet
a) Book your tickets online (from the official tournament website or Sazka website). Then at a Sazka terminal, tell the vendor the booking number, or simply show its barcode on your mobile phone (booking confirmation will be emailed to you).
b) Buy tickets in person
You can also buy a ticket directly. For quick identification, find the so-called action ID on the website (the vendor can also find it at the terminal), then tell the vendor how many tickets you want (max. 5 per game). A booking confirmation is then printed at the terminal that is valid for 15 minutes – the system automatically offers the best free space(s) in the arena. After confirmation, submit your reservation to the vendor, who will print your tickets after payment.
How many tickets can a single fan buy?
One customer can buy a maximum of 6 tickets per game when buying online; at Sazka ter-minals: 5 tickets per game.
Where can I check the validity of tickets?
The validity of tickets can be verified via telephone +420 461 049 232 (every day including weekends and holidays; 9:00 – 22:00). The Organizing Committee also warns that tickets cannot be distributed, mediated, sold, displayed or offered for sale without the Organizer's consent. Use of tickets for promotional, advertising or other commercial purposes without prior consent is prohibited.
What about tickets for disabled fans?
There is a limited number of places for disabled guests in both arenas. In Ostrava, there are 17 places for disabled persons plus escorts (price 50% off + escort free). In Trinec, there are 7 places for disabled persons plus escorts (price 50% off + plus escort).
What discounts will be provided, in addition to discounts for disabled fans?
The pricing policy was set by the Organizing Committee to be favourable to fans. No additional discounts will be provided.
