Starting from today volunteers for the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship can apply for various opportunities during the tournament. If you want to have a great experience and to see the Worlds from a different perspective, fill in the application form and become a volunteer!

This year's biggest annual hockey event will take place in the capital of Latvia from 21 May to 6 June. Volunteers will have the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes this World Championship.

“There are less than 100 days left until the World Championship in Latvia. Therefore, I am very pleased to announce the launch of the volunteer program. Without volunteers, events of this scale are impossible,” said Edgars Buncis, the CEO of the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Organizing Committee. “It's a great opportunity to gain experience and be at the epicentre of the event. Only with the involvement of volunteers this tournament can be a 100 per cent success.”

Each volunteer will receive official championship clothing. Also meals will be provided.

To become a volunteer and gain a great experience, you need to apply by filling out a form below.
