With the release of the new dates (6-16 May 2021) for the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship in Halifax and Truro, N.S., Hockey Canada is committed to continued communication with the International Ice Hockey Federation, Province of Nova Scotia and local health authorities to ensure the event can be hosted in a safe environment.
The Province of Nova Scotia is currently permitting a reduced number of spectators to attend sporting events, within cohorts and while maintaining physical distancing. Hockey Canada is working with both the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax and the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro to ensure all purchased ticket packages can be honoured while following public health directives. If you are a current ticket holder, more information will be shared directly, as will the specifics of spectator capacity, which are subject to change, as they become available.
