The values of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship are sustainability, fun and community.
Together with the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship’s Official Partners, the organizing committee wants to raise the sustainability acts that are shown in building and organizing the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.

”Values are reflected in everything we do. We want to organize a fun event for ice hockey fans. Beyond that, sustainability will also be systematically implemented: for example, the location of the arenas allows the smooth use of public transport. Train connections operate from all over Finland and it is only 1.5 hours by train from a host city to another,” says Heikki Hietanen, the General Secretary of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Organizing Committee.
