Get ready to bite your fingernails! The quarter-finals are next, and the host Finns – who have allowed the tournament’s fewest goals by far – are sitting pretty in first place in our sixth Power Rankings of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. The unbeaten Swiss, coming off a hard-fought 4-3 shootout win over Germany, are second, while Sweden holds down third place.
