The game schedule for the top female junior players has been approved by the IIHF and the participating team. Earlier that day Canada will start into the tournament against Finland.
The tournament will be played in a two-tiered system with the top-four seeded teams playing in Group A.
Group B with the other teams will be played at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton and open with two neighbouring rivalries between Slovakia and Czechia and Switzerland vs. Germany.
The preliminary round will be played on 6, 7 and 9 June. The top-two teams of Group A will automatically move to the semi-finals on 12 June while quarter-final games will be played between the bottom-two teams of Group A and the top-two teams of Group B on 10 June. The third- and fourth-ranked teams of Group B will play a series for seventh place in the overall ranking.
The medal games will be played on 13 June in Madison.
With the game schedule announced, the ticket sale has started. Tickets for games at LaBahn Arena are available for purchase through Wisconsin Athletics, while tickets for games at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena can be purchased through the Capitol Ice Arena.
