We can’t bring the 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship to you due to the coronavirus pandemic – but we can bring some of the players to you in Facebook live broadcasts!

European players made the beginning with Swiss goaltender Andrea Brandli, Finnish goaltender Noora Raty, Germany’s captain Julia Zorn, Swiss scoring star Lara Stalder and Russian forward Alexandra Vafina.

Now we get two players from Team Canada – at once! Join in on Thursday for a session with Sarah Nurse and Erin Ambrose at 6pm ET (3pm PT, midnight Central European Time) and ask them your questions!

The two players are both 25 years old and born in Ontario and won gold in the U18 Women’s World Championship and silver at senior level.

Both played at the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship and also made the final roster for this year’s Women’s Worlds. For both players the last club team was in the now-defunct Canadian Women’s Hockey League where defender Ambrose played in Montreal for Les Canadiennes and forward Nurse for the Toronto Furies.
