Ice Hockey Australia has withdrawn two of its national teams that were entered to participate in the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship program during the upcoming months due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel ban of the Australian government.

The men’s U20 team won’t participate in the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III scheduled to take place in January in Mexico City and the women’s U18 team won’t play at the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship planned in January in Dumfries, Great Britain.
