New President for Korea

The Korea Ice Hockey Association has elected Hojin Lee as new President. The candidate was elected during the association’s election and follows after Chulwon Choi.

45 delegates voted for Lee while the second competitor got 32 votes and the third 14. He will work as President of the Korea Ice Hockey Association for four years.

According to his commitments, he pledged to expand the player base through the Association of Communication and Integration, the establishment of an ice rink dedicated to ice hockey, the construction of innovative systems and the revitalization of elite teams.

The newly elected President has been the chairman of YJ Hosuing, a construction company in Korea. He will attend the 2022 IIHF Annual Congress later this month in Finland.
