The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship in Espoo and Vantaa starts in three months, but ticket sales for the tournament are already progressing at an accelerating pace.

During the first month, a total of more than 15,000 tickets were sold.

The most popular game so far has been the preliminary round game between Finland and the USA on April 30 2024. There are currently just under a thousand tickets available for free sale, with only scattered seats available in the lower stands.

The lower stands are almost full also in the preliminary round game Finland-Slovakia (April 28) as well as in the final (May 5). For both games, in the lower stands there are only scattered seats left, while there are adjacent seats for groups still available in the upper stand.

Of the matches to be played in Vantaa, the biggest interest is focused on the two games: Canada–Sweden (April 25) and Canada–Czechia (April 26).

At the moment, tickets are still available for all games. But as the tournament approaches, it’s time to act, especially if one wants to experience certain games live.

Closer to the tournament, some extra tickets could be released for sale from different quotas.

For this tournament, ticket prices are affordable. For 5–18-year-olds, a ticket to any game costs six euros. For over 18-year-olds, the prices vary between 11 and 26 euros, depending on the game and ticket category.
