Transportation in Stockholm:
By subway, tram, bus, ferry or commuter train. Stockholm's local transportation network takes you almost anywhere. You do not need an physical transportation card to buy single tickets. Instead, you can blip your payment card directly against the ticket reader or buy an app ticket in the public transport's app and blip the mobile phone. There are also travel cards available for 24 or 72 hours.
