New tickets for World Juniors

More than one month before the start of the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship the last tickets are on sale - the third stage of ticket sale begins on Friday, 6 December at 10.00. Tickets for all the games will be available. The top hockey event takes place in Ostrava and Trinec from 26 December 2019 to 5 January 2020.

Ticket prices for 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship start at CZK 90 (approx. €3.50). Tickets for the Czech team games in the preliminary round cost CZK 290 (approx. €11.40). The gold medal game of the event will be available for CZK 450 (approx. €17.60).

Currently, the Organizing Committee will release additional tickets for sale. Tickets for all the games, including Czech and Slovak games in the preliminary group, will be available from Friday, 6 December. “There is a huge interest in tickets for the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship, so we are delighted to be able to make the tickets available as 'Nicholas Day present'. On Friday, we will release several hundred tickets from technical blockings for each games, including the games of the Czech home team,” says Marketa Sterbova, General Secretary of the Organizing Committee. “Tickets for quarter-finals will also be available. Already we can confirm that if the Czech Republic team will advance to quarter-finals, the game will take place on 2 January 2020 at 8 pm in Ostrava.” 

The Organizing Committee draws the fans' attention to important details. “Tickets purchased via the Internet, so-called e-tickets, must be printed by each fan and presented for inspection when entering the arena. Reading from mobile phones will not be possible,” adds Sterbova.
