Finnish forward Rasmus Kupari has to leave the team at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship after reportedly suffering a knee injury in the game against Sweden.

The Finnish Ice Hockey Association ruled the player of the AHL’s Ontario Reign out for the remainder of the tournament and will continue the tournament with the remaining roster of 19 skaters and three goaltenders.

Two other teams, which haven’t registered a full roster yet, added players on Friday.

Host Czech Republic added forward Karel Plasek of Kometa Brno and has still one roster spot open for a skater.

Russia filled its roster today by adding defenceman Danil Misyul of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and forward Ilya Kruglov of Dynamo Moscow.
