The IIHF would like to provide an update on the COVID-19 testing results for all 16 teams.
From the teams’ entry into the 2021 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Bubble, a total of over 3,750 COVID-19 PCR tests have been administered to all players, team staff and officials.
Following a positive test result from Kazakhstan’s Pre-Travel Camp, one player has now completed his isolation period and is now free to rejoin the team.
During the tournament, each team will continue with PCR tests every three days until the conclusion of the event.
