Following the cancellation of the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the IIHF has announced the following additional positive cases reported on 30 December.

-One Member of Team Canada
-One Member of Team Russia
-One Member of Team Germany
-One Member of Team Slovakia
-Two Members of Team Sweden
-One on-ice game official

All team members and officials above will remain in a mandatory minimum ten-day quarantine before they are able to return to their home countries.
