Upsetting the defending champion U.S. 4-2 puts the Czechs on top heading into the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship semi-finals.

It’s the third Power Rankings of the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship, and things are heating up in Edmonton as we prepare for the semi-finals! The Czechs, after dethroning the U.S. with a thrilling 4-2 quarter-final upset, zoom into top spot. Host Canada goes to second place after defeating Switzerland 6-3. Meanwhile, the Finns, who eliminated Germany with a 5-2 victory, regain third spot from Sweden, which nipped Latvia 2-1.
