We have it on very good and reliable authority that the following IIHF freelancers, based in Czechia :
are being paid, each, CHF 6000.00 / Month. That is gross ... ha ha ha ha !!!! literrally
Now this is just a number which does not really mean anything unless you put it in some sort of perspective.
Let us try to do that...
so these people are being paid more than 3 times the national average Czech salary.
One may wonder why the IIHF is being so generous with these 3 free-lancer they are hiring.
why would you pay someone, living in a country, a salary which is more than 3 times the average salary of the country they live in ????
that would be a valid and honest question, wouldn'it ?
One may also wonder if the IIHF has the same salary policy towards other free-lancers they are contracting ...
it would also be interesting to know how this generous salary compares with the salary of IIHF enmployees.
anyhoo ...

- One reason could be that their hiring manager (Christian PHILLIPP, former IIHF director) is a very good buddy of these people.
- Another reason could be that the chairman of the IIHF finance committee is Peter BRIZA ... who happens to be ... Czech ... ha ha ha ha ha.
