Things are heating up in Brampton, Ontario. Team Canada delighted the home fans with a thrilling 4-3 shootout win over the Americans to close out Group A action and stay unbeaten. Accordingly, the North American archrivals retain first and second place respectively in our second Power Rankings of the 2023 IIHF Women’s World Championship. Meanwhile, Finland posted a perfect 4-0 record to top Group B with a stellar 26-3 goal difference and vaults into third place. We can’t wait to see what Thursday’s quarter-finals bring!
