2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship will be held in Espoo and Vantaa from April 25th to May 5th 2024 with excellent transportation connections.
What could be better than using public transportation when heading to Metro Arena and Tikkurila Arena? Parking spaces near the arenas are limited, so we encourage using public transportation. Ticket buyers will get a discount on public transportation tickets, information will be sent by ticketing operator Lippu.fi by email.
The Metro Arena can be easily reached by metro line 1 (Kivenlahti-Vuosaari) from both Helsinki and Espoo by getting off at the Urheilupuisto station. It's about a 10-minute walk from the metro station to the ice rink. Buses such as 114, 118, and 119 also operate near the Arena.
For Tikkurila Arena, you can easily take the train and get off at Tikkurila station, there is approximatively one kilometer walk to the Arena. Tikkurila is reachable from Helsinki city center in about 15 minutes. The following buses pass by the arena: 631, 641, and 735.
