In the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship quarter-finals, the defending champion U.S. will face archrival Canada in Fribourg, and host Switzerland will take on Sweden in Zurich.

With the group stage completed, the quarter-final pairings and Thursday’s schedule at the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship are now known.
The four games are as follows:
16:20 Finland-Czechia (Zurich)
16:20 Canada-USA (Fribourg)
20:20 Switzerland-Sweden (Zurich)
20:20 Norway-Latvia (Fribourg)

The four quarter-final winners advance to the semi-finals, which will be played on Saturday, followed by the medal games on Sunday. All games on Saturday and Sunday will take place in Zurich.
