During the period of the cancelled 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship our editorial team worked on All-Time Teams of the 16 national teams.

In a competition fans had the possibility to select their global All-Time Team in international play from the players of the 16 countries.

The great Wayne Gretzky from Canada received most votes followed by Czech legend Jaromir Jagr, who at the age of 48 years has still not hung up his skates.

For the other players it was visible that fans from Latvia were once again enthusiastic and passionate. Arturs Irbe made the goalie position and left the likes of Dominik Hasek, Vladislav Tretiak and Henrik Lundqvist behind. Sandis Ozolins and the late Karlis Skrastins build the defensive pair (Zdeno Chara and Nicklas Lidstrom were next in votes) and as third forward the late Sergejs Zoltoks was elected with a few votes more than another Latvian legend, Helmuts Balderis.
Congrats to the winners who will be contacted shortly.
