IIHF Legends gather in St. Petersburg

As part of a unique program built around the 2021 IIHF Semi-Annual Congress, a special IIHF Legends exhibition game is set to take place today at Yubileiny Sports Complex in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The game is being organized in honour of IIHF President, René Fasel, who will conclude his 27-year leadership of the federation on Saturday, when a new IIHF President will be elected for the first time since 1994.
Yubileiny Arena will play host to the Legends game. 

Team Russia vs. Team World

The game will see a teams composed of international players from several countries facing off against a team of former Russian national team players and special guests. René Fasel will serve as an honorary referee during the game.
