Tissot and the IIHF are renewing their long-term partnership with a multi-year extension, which they are announcing 50 days before the start of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship that will take place from May 13 to 29 in Finland. The agreement means that Tissot remains the Official Timekeeper and watch for several IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships.
In addition to its existing commitment to the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Tissot remains the Official Partner of the IIHF as well as the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the following IIHF competitions:
The agreement extends a long-term association between the IIHF and Tissot that goes back to 1996. Fans attending IIHF events are used to seeing the Tissot branded boards during games, and at the conclusion of the World Championship games Best Players from each team receive a Tissot watch in recognition of their performance. The new agreement will see Tissot’s integration on IIHF’s digital channels such as the IIHF Mobile App and social media campaigns.
