Royal Arena

Royal Arena is a brand-new multi-functional city arena located in Orestad less than five kilometres from downtown Copenhagen and less than ten minutes’ travel time from Copenhagen Airport and the Oresund Bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. Metro, train and bus stations in walking distance from the venue together with the nearby freeway make Royal Arena easily accessible for spectators. Travelling guests will welcome the more than 2,500 hotel beds (in different price categories) also in walking distance from the venue.

Designed by the price-winning Danish architects 3XN, Royal Arena stands out as a venue with its iconic and Nordic architecture. The combination of glass sections and large wooden fins in the facade creates a transparent and welcoming expression and the plazas surrounding the venue underlines the friendly atmosphere. Inside curvy lines and soft lighting on concourses and in foyers lead the way to a beautiful bowl with good seating comfort and excellent sightlines.

With a maximum capacity of 16,000 guests for concerts and approximately 12,500 for team sport events Royal Arena is the largest permanent indoor venue in Copenhagen. The operator is part of Live Nation Entertainment, and Royal Arena will open in February 2017 with four sold-out Metallica concerts in seven days.

Jyske Bank Boxen

Jyske Bank Boxen is the first indoor multi arena of its kind in Denmark. With a capacity of up to 15,000 spectators, the arena has been designed to host a wide range of events. The multifunctional arena includes a variety of VIP facilities, and combined with the adjacent fair and conference halls, MCH offers a unique setup for hosting the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship.

The opening event in 2010 was a sold out concert with Lady Gaga. In the spring of 2016, Adele and Sir Paul McCartney performed on stage in Jyske Bank Boxen, where a number of large events have taken place including the 2013 European Swimming Championships, the Women’s World Championship in Handball in 2015 and a number of large TV shows and concerts.
