In our third 2021 Power Rankings, Slovakia leads the pack after posting its first IIHF World Championship win over Russia in 17 years.

Slovakia vaults into first place in our third Power Rankings of 2021 after a monumental 3-1 win over the Russians. The Germans hang tough in second place with their gritty upset versus Canada, while the U.S. moves up to third after dominating Kazakhstan.
