The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation announced that Tristan Scherwey is ruled out for the remainder of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship due to a foot injury.

Scherwey was hospitalized after suffering an injury when attempting to bodycheck an opponent in the game against France. The examination showed a fracture of his right ankle.
