A: Start of the single games tickets sale is planned on Tuesday 16 January 2024 from 10:00 CET.
  
Q: How much time I will have to complete the purchase in the Ticketmaster selling system? 
A: After adding tickets to the cart, customers have 5 minutes to complete the purchase.  
 
Q: How much time I will have to complete the purchase in the Ticketportal purchasing system?
A: After adding tickets to the cart, customers have 15 minutes to complete the purchase. 
  
Q: How are tickets sold for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship?
A: Tickets are sold in the form of single games tickets.
  
Q: Which channel will be the main ticket purchase channel for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship?
A: The official channel for the ticket sale is via web 2024.iihfworlds.com/tickets
 
Q: Which ticket operators will it be possible to buy tickets from?
A: Fans can buy tickets for all games of the Preliminary Round and both Ostrava quarter-finals at Ticketportal, and for the play-off games in Prague at Ticketmaster.
 
Q: Which ticket operators will sell the VIP tickets?
A: The VIP tickets to all games in Prague will be sold by Ticketmaster, all Ostrava games will be sold by Ticketportal.
  
Q: What do you need before the start of the purchase from Ticketmaster?
A: The condition for purchase is to have an account with the given ticket operator. We recommend that you register before the actual purchase but you can also register during the purchase process.
 
Q: What do you need before the start of the purchase from Ticketportal?
A: You must have a registered account with Ticketportal before making the purchase. Only logged in users can make purchases. Every time you log in, you need to enter a verification code that will be sent to the specified email.
 
Q: How will the purchase of tickets at Ticketportal be carried out?
A: From the official website 2024.iihfworlds.com/tickets, the customer will be redirected to the ticket operator's sales system, where they will log in with their account. It will not be possible to log into the system without a prior registration. After completing the purchase, the customer will receive their tickets to the indicated e-mail.
 
Q: How will the purchase of tickets at Tickemaster be carried out?
A: From the official website 2024.iihfworlds.com/tickets, the customer will be redirected to the ticket operator's sales system, where they either log in with their account or register during the purchase (we recommend registering in advance before the purchase itself). After completing the purchase, the customer will receive their tickets to the indicated e-mail.
 
Q: How to behave/proceed in the process of buying tickets with Ticketmaster? 
A: When purchasing tickets, you must follow the instructions that the customer will see during the purchase, which is completed with a successful payment. In particular, you must avoid refreshing the browser page, using the "Back" step in the browser or opening new browser windows during the purchase.

Q: How to behave/proceed in the process of buying tickets with Ticketportal? 
A: In the case of a queue, it is important not to leave it, otherwise the customer will lose their position in the current order. On mobile devices, do not switch the browser application to inactive mode, as this may cause the application to close in the background and thus lose the order in the queue.
 
Q: How will the payment be made? Can I pay by bank transfer, online by card or by Apple/Google pay? Is it possible to pay for the tickets later?
A - Ticketmaster: You can pay online by credit card. Reservations are not allowed. Tickets must be paid for immediately in the last step of the purchase process.
A – Ticketportal: Payment is possible by credit card or Apple Pay and Google Pay directly in the payment gateway. Pay attention to the set limits for online payment. If the limit is lower than the amount to be paid, the transaction will not be carried out and the tickets will end up in a temporary reservation, which must be paid again within 20 minutes. After this time, the system will cancel the reservation and the tickets will be released back into sale.
 
Q: Can discount vouchers be used? 
A: Within the Ticketmaster or Ticketportal it is impossible to use any discount vouchers.
 
Q: How many tickets can I buy within one purchase?
A: It is possible to buy up to 8 tickets within one purchase of the Preliminary Round for one game day. In total, it is possible to have up to 24 tickets in cart within one purchase.
 
Q: Where can I find the information about the tickets?
A: Basic information about tickets can be found on the event's official website 2024.iihfworlds.com/tickets.
 
Q: Who can I contact in case of technical problems with Ticketportal?
A: The customer can contact customer support directly by email: [email protected].
 
Q: Who can I contact in case of technical problems with Ticketmaster?
A: The customer can contact customer support directly on the website www.tmtickets.cz, using the contact form that opens after clicking on the "Support" button. Ticketmaster customer support will then deal with the request in the shortest possible time.
 
Q: What is the „Family Game” ticket?
A: These are the so-called "noon" games. Specifically, in Prague, they are the games of Great Britain against Canada on Saturday 11 May, Denmark against Switzerland on Saturday 19 May and Austria against Great Britain on Tuesday 21 May 2024.
In Ostrava, it is the game between France and Kazakhstan on Saturday, 11 May and Tuesday 21 May 2024 when France will take the ice against Germany.
 
Q: How many price categories will be on sale?
A: In both arenas, tickets will be sold in a total of three price categories.

In the case of the Prague Arena – 1st price category = 1st floor, 2nd price category = 4th floor, except upper rows, 3rd price category = upper rows on the 4th floor.



 
 

 
For Ostrava Arena – 1st price category = all sectors, except sectors A1, A5, B1 and B5, 2nd price category = lower part of sectors A1, A5, B1 and B5, 3rd price category = upper part of sectors A1, A5, B1 and B5.

 
 

 
Q: What is the capacity of both arenas?
A: The capacity of Prague Arena is 17,500 seats; capacity of the Ostrava Arena is 9,400 seats.
 
Q: Will it be possible to buy tickets in regular stores as in 2015?
A: No. Tickets will only be available online from official ticket operators - Ticketportal and Ticketmaster companies.
 
Q: Do I need to have a printed ticket or will it be enough to show the e-ticket on my phone?
A: To enter both arenas, it is enough to show the electronic ticket on your phone.
 
Q: Will I have one ticket for a given game day?
A: No. The tickets will be for each game - i.e. if I have two games in the daily package, I will receive two tickets (one for each game).
 
Q: How much do the tickets for the disabled persons cost?
A: Tickets for the disabled persons, which are located in the 1st price category of the tickets are sold with a 50 per cent discount  for a daily package + an accompanying person for 1 CZK.
Tickets for the disabled persons cannot be purchased online. For requests for this type of ticket, please contact:

Q: Will it be possible to buy a ticket in EUR in addition to the CZK?
A: No. The prices are listed and the tickets themselves can only be paid in CZK.
 
Q: Can I buy tickets from other subjects than the official ticket operators?
A: No. It is forbidden to resell and buy tickets elsewhere than from the official ticket operators. By purchasing a ticket elsewhere than from official ticket operators, the customers expose themself to the risk that their ticket will be invalid or fake.
 
Q: If I accidentally buy a ticket for a different match than I wanted, is it possible to exchange it?
A: No, this option is not possible.
 
Q: Is it necessary to buy tickets also for children?
A: Yes, everyone who wants to attend the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships must have a valid ticket.
 
Q: What happens if I accidentally delete the ticket or don't receive the email?
A - Ticketmaster: In case of any problem, customers can contact the official Ticketmaster ticketing operator from whom they purchased the tickets; the operator's customer support will solve the request in the shortest possible time.
A – Ticketportal: In this case, the lost ticket can be found after logging into the order history on the Ticketportal website. You can also contact Ticketportal ticket operator support at [email protected]
 
Q: I have tickets, but unfortunately I can't attend the event. Can tickets be returned?
A: Purchased tickets cannot be returned.
 
Q: Are tickets transferable? Or will customers buy them directly in the name?
A: Tickets are not personalized, so a valid ticket purchased through an official ticket operator is sufficient for entry to the event.
